Dakota Irsik · software engineer & architect
I design and build software that holds up in production.
16+ years as a software engineer and architect, mostly C# and .NET: platforms for legal rankings, trading-card e-commerce, public safety, healthcare, and institutional finance. Since late 2025 I've run Irsik Software, where I shipped CandyRush on Steam and QuickTile Studio on the Unity Asset Store. I'm open to full-time senior engineering and architecture roles.

AI-assisted engineering
How I work with AI agents.
At Irsik Software I direct AI coding agents the way I'd lead a team: I set the architecture, write the issues, and gate every change behind tests and review. The agents run on hardware I own: self-hosted runners, a set of always-on services, and a single tunnel to the outside. Every number here traces to a real machine, repository, or run.

Hiring a senior engineer or architect?
I'm looking for a full-time role: remote, hybrid, or on-site. I build games on my own time, outside working hours. Contract work is welcome too.
